Thank you for choosing the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Oakland University for your educational needs! For a detailed description of our graduate programs, please see ECE Graduate Programs.

One of the first steps to being admitted into Oakland University is to apply for admission. For application information, please see Future Students on OU's main website. This site also has information for future students, newly admitted students, current students and graduating students.

Upon admission into ESE, you will be assigned an adviser who will guide you through the rest of your career at Oakland University. In addition to meeting with your adviser, you will want to thoroughly study your graduate catalog. This book will list all of the policies and procedures that will govern your actions here at Oakland University.

For those that are seeking financial aid, please download the graduate assistantship form. This form is for being a teaching assistant only (see below for research assistant information). When you are returning this form to 102A SEB, please be sure to include the classes that you feel you are qualified to work for as well submitting your resume. Please note that only qualifying candidates will be considered (see form for details). Also, please note that there are many students seeking an assistantship but there are very few positions available.

Although research assistant positions are available, they are awarded solely by the faculty. Please contact the faculty that you would like to work with to discuss the possibility of an assistantship award.
